Description
This is a very unusual and powerful piece, showing cocks fighting, although the aggression and movement is all in the brush strokes - there are no gory injuries! Signed lower right, "Terrell" (partially obscured by frame) and identified verso by label with artist's London address. Probably dates from 1970s, judging by the frame which is typical of that period.

Painting in very good condition. Presented in its original frame, (cream painted wood with hessian insert) which is a bit scruffy in parts.
