The watch has a 15-jewel stem-winding movement, Marquis grade, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 15,768,278 which dates it back to 1907. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover. The watch measures 51mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and is hallmarked for Birmingham 1927 with a case maker’s mark for Aaron Dennison, supplier of cases to Waltham UK. The case is in lovely condition. The movement and case are not original to each other but the movement would originally have had a Dennison case just like this one. The watch glass has a 5mm scratch but not too noticeable at all. The signed dial is in lovely condition. The watch comes in a new presentation box. All prices include UK postage (excluding Northern Ireland).
