Pocket Watch Trinket Box Antique Style Enamel & Gilt Vintage 1970s Jewellery Box

Highly unusual chunky little enamel and gilt trinket box in the form of an Antique pocket watch. (Useful item for safely storing jewellery or pocket watch keys). Measures; 4.4cm width, 5.2cm length, 2.3cm height and weigh a heavy 37.2 grams. The front carries black Arabic numbers upon a white enamel dial with the gold 'Breguet Moon' hands set at the 3 o'clock position. The back is adorned with an attractive Repousse decoration and the case circumference has a slightly raised acanthus leaf design. Opens up correctly (lovely little bow catch), closing tightly with a very reassuring click and the hinge is true and firm with absolutely no play.
