Description
Portrait of a spaniel in the style of Sir Edwin Henry Landseer RA. He was an English painter and sculptor, well known for his paintings of animals - particularly horses, dogs and stags. He also designed the lion sculptures at the base of Nelson's Column in Trafalgar Square. This picture is presented in a good early 19th century burr walnut veneer frame.
