Pretty All Iron Irish Double Bed

A very nice all Iron Irish double bed. Lovely shaping in the panels and good detail in all the castings and clamps. The panels have a lovely central casting which reminds us of a type of Celtic cross, connected by iron reed strip and delightfully curved round iron. Fully restored to be sturdy, practical and beautiful. Whole frame cleaned and tested for durability. Shot blasted and primed prior to hand paint finish in Little Greene’s Nether Red with touches of Knightsbridge, lightly dark waxed to protect, shine and give a gentle tonal variation throughout the bed. All joints checked for secure fit. Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height. The bed is photographed on slats with our Bordeaux mattress.
