Rare 19th Century Josef Keller Designed Glass Decanter c.1880 by Stevens & Williams

A superb and rare example of a Stevens & Williams glass decanter probably by Joseph Keller in c1880. It has its original stopper with a raspberry prunt, red applied trailing and a crimped base. Sits on a three way poring rim with applied red trailing with further applied crimped ring at the base of the neck. Beautifully engraved with fine flower swags, pendants and geometrics. Polished pontil to base. Josef Keller was born in Bohemia in 1850 and started work for Stevens and Williams in 1871. His fine detailed engraving is some of the best ever produced.
