It has a blue glass 'turquoise' to the terminal, which unscrews to refill the lead and the tip revolves to reveal the lead for writing. The stunning casing is gun metal and set with turquoise cabochons. To the top is a gilt metal articulated fastener, with an attaching loop to the top.
