Rare Vintage Art Deco Schiaparelli Shocking Figural Tailor's Dummy Perfume Scent Bottle in Leather Travel Case c.1940

Offered for sale is this rare 1940s iconic Shocking perfume bottle. The fragrance was first launched in 1937 and the bottle was designed by Leonor Fini, the bottle’s shape modeled after a dressmaker’s dummy that is based on the body of Mae West. This perfume bottle measures 3 inches in height and is housed within it's leather travel case with shocking pink satin lining. The bottle is complete with glass flowers and foliage, tape measure draped around the shoulders and "S" logo for Schiaparelli embossed on "navel" label placed over the tape measure. This perfume bottle does not appear to have been opened and still has the gilt cord around the neck although there is only a small amount of liquid remaining in the bottle probably due to evaporation. The frosted globular glass stopper is frozen and I have been unable to remove it. I can find no other flaws to the bottle or the case. Since this scent bottle still contains some perfume liquid, I will be unable to ship internationally so this listing is for the UK only. Thank you for looking.
