Description
A delightful and most unusual gilt and gesso over mirror in super condition dating from the late Regency period circa 1820. The original mirror glass sits within a moulded and stiff leaf carved frame surmounted by a grand gilded ho-ho bird with decorative porcelain floral mounts in lovely pastel shades.
This is a most unusual and rare piece and a nice size measuring 74cms by 72cms overall.
