Falstaff is wearing a pink shirt which his ample belly has stretched to the garment's limits. He has a cape which has been caught by the wind. On his hands he wears gauntlet gloves and has a belt and buckle as well as a sash. The sash carries his sabre at his side. He is wearing tall, thigh length boots.
