Description
Offered for sale is a Royal Doulton figurine "The Tinsmith" which was designed by Mary Nicoll and produced by Royal Doulton between 1962 and 1967.
The Tinsmith is depicted skillfully assembling a lidded jug made of the very material for which he is named. Surrounded by the tools of his trade, he is dressed in a waist coat, breeches and has silver buckles on his shoes.
