Offered for sale is "The Mayor" plate one of the nine character plates in the Royal Doulton "The Professionals" seriesware collection. This version is numbered D6283, the mayor a red robe with a fur collar, a pale blue striped cravat and his chain of office topped off with a black Tricorn hat with yellow trim.
