Second Chinese Black Lacquered Wooden Bottleneck Vase

This Chinese black laquered bottleneck vase is one of two similar vases and dates to approximately 1910. It features a slender neck and a wider body, characteristic of traditional vase design. The surface is finished in a black laquer, typical of Chinese craftsmanship from this period. The vase is made from we believe a type of wood, possibly Hongmu Wood and showcases intricate detailing that reflects the artistry of early 20th-century Chinese decorative arts. Incorporated in the design are flowers and trailing leaves, fixed sitting on a traditional carved hardwood stand.
