Silver French Bulldog Pill Box / Novelty Dog Snuff Box - William Comyns 1971

This fabulous vintage novelty silver pill box / snuff box which is fully hallmarked is made by top silversmith William Comyns & Sons Ltd and is in the form of a French Bulldog. This beautiful box which has a hinged lid is realistically modelled as a French Bulldog's head with wonderful detail, the inside is gilded, feels heavy in the hand and is in excellent condition. Would make a wonderful gift for a silver collector or French Bulldog lover. Material: Sterling Silver. Date: 1971. Hallmarks: Fully hallmarked with Lion for silver. Leopard's head for London.
