Still life with jug and lemon by Sheila Holland

This is a fine painting by the artist Sheila Holland 1932-2012, it depicts a still life with jugs and a lemon, it is executed in oils on paper and is in good condition. Sheila was a solitary and private person eventually establishing her studio at lower Bradford cottage on Bodmin Moor, Cornwall in 1985. Sheila could have quite easily have placed herself at the centre of the artistic scene in Cornwall like St Ives and Newlyn and developed an international reputation, however her need for privacy and her prolific output demanded isolation and focus.
