Absolutely stunning bed. Gorgeous detail seen in the central casting which features a vase and flowers, this is surrounded by a delightful woven metal wire trellis/surround which we have gilded with gilt varnish. A particularly lovely paint finish on this bed by our aesthetics consultant and lead finisher, Billie, the brass knobs have been painted to harmonise with overall finish which we think looks quite beautiful. Fully restored to be sturdy, practical and beautiful. Whole frame cleaned and tested for durability. Shot blasted and primed prior to hand paint finish in Little Greene’s Sage and Invisible Green, with touches of Neptune’s Driftwood, gently dark waxed over to protect and give a soft sheen and tonal variation. All joints checked for secure fit. Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress or curtains). As an alternative to the wood slats, we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height. The bed is photographed on slats with our Bordeaux mattresses.
