A superb silver mounted whisky jug from the reign of George V. This unusual example is fitted with a hallmarked silver collar and has a pouring lip. The body has optic ribbing, an applied handle and the original matching stopper. Unusually, the jug retains the original hallmarked silver whisky label. It is an attractive and practical piece of antique glassware and a great gift idea for the whisky enthusiast.

Excellent condition, with no holes or splits to the collar. No chips, cracks to the glass. There are a number of tiny blemishes to the inside of the collar, commensurate with age and use. The label is undamaged.
Hallmarks are clear and readable.
