A superb quality early example of a Georgian folding fruit knife, dated 1819.
It features genuine mother-of-pearl scales with brass liners, a decorative bolster, and fancy filework along the spine.
The sterling silver blade bears a well-preserved set of detailed Georgian hallmarks.
The blade retains a good thickness of silver, remaining robust rather than flimsy.
Supplied in a presentation box, suitable for display or gifting.
HALLMARKS: Sheffield, SILVER fineness 925, No maker’s mark, as is common for fruit knives of this period.
