Williams Antiques & Restoration have been restoring antique furniture since 1990. We carry out a wide range of restoration work from cabinet work and re-polishing to gilding and lock repairs. Our showroom has a wide range of antique furniture and smaller items. These range from dining tables and desks, to silver letter knives and tea sets. The vast majority of the furniture in the showroom has been restored in house. We also have a cabinet at the Antiques Association in Woburn. We are based in the village of Colmworth in Bedfordshire within easy reach of St Neots, Cambridge and Bedford, we also have a showroom next to our workshop for you to visit.

Description
This is a 19th Century Victorian antique inlaid walnut work and games table.The burr walnut top which is inlaid with decorative box wood lines. It has a fold over top which opens to reveal chess, backgammon and cribbage boards. The frieze drawer is lined in sycamore with compartments. Below this is a work box, which pulls forward. It is supported on turned and carved columns which are united in a turned stretcher rail and it is all raised on carved cabriole legs fitted with brass castors.
