Victorian Silver Plated Box with Rural Scenes of the Harvest

This heavy cast silver plated box is a very decorative Victorian electroformed silver-plated trinket or jewellery box in a rectangular form with hinged lid and has been relined with antique dark blue velvet in keeping with its original design and execution in the 1890’s. The five panels depict rural scenes and harvest activities.
