Victorian Walnut Davenport

A superb Victorian burr walnut veneered Davenport beautifully decorated with inlaid crossbanding, stringing and more detailed panels. With dummy drawers to one side and real ones to the other side. All the knobs are crisply turned and not chipped. The lift up lid opens to reveal sycamore compartments for letters, a pen tray with ebonized lid and a pair of brass topped inkwells, complete with working lock and key. The whole piece has been recently re-polished and a new writing leather fitted. As such this piece is in superb condition.
