Description
An attractive inlaid burr walnut davenport from the Victorian period. With dummy drawers to one side and the real working ones to the other (as is the case with most davenports). The maple interior has two drawers and the upper hinged lid has a fretwork gallery and is fitted for an inkwell and writing requisites.
Probably re-polished and leathered approx 5-10 years ago, this ladies writing desk is in very good condition with working locks and keys to the drawers and writing slope. Ready to use and enjoy.
