Description
This vintage Kigu powder compact dates circa 1950. The compact measures 7 cm in diameter and is made of gold tone metal with decorative machine turned pattern to the base and the lid sides. At the centre of the lid are pretty pressed flowers on a glitter foil background under domed lucite covering.
The compact has firm hinge and secure catch and opens to reveal a clear and reflective framed glass mirror under the lid. The powder well in the base has a hinged door marked to the centre cartouche with the Kigu logo. The powder well beneath retains the original sifter.
This charming vintage Kigu powder compact is offered in very clean good condition.
