Vintage Sterling Silver Novelty Hand Caddy Spoon - 1971

This is a nice quality English sterling silver caddy spoon, shaped like a human hand. The item carries full U.K. hallmarks for Sheffield 1971, and has the makers mark for Francis Howard. The hand design harks back to the Georgian era, but also remained popular throughout the 20th century. A nice little novelty piece of silver, and most certainly useable if desired. The caddy spoon measures 7.2cm x 3.4cm, and has a weight of approximately 14.2g. The condition is very good, with the item appearing to be barely used. There are no dents, splits, repairs or other flaws to note, and the hallmarks are nice an clear.
