Original British Army Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME) officer’s cap badge. A fine officer-quality example featuring the King’s Crown above the REME motto, with the iconic rearing horse over crossed lightning bolts and globe. Constructed in gilt and silver-tone metal with original fittings to the reverse. Dating from the reign of King George VI (1937–1952), this badge would have been worn by an officer of the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers.
