WW1 Trench Art RASC Horse Shoe Tray Royal Army Service Corps

A piece of trench art from the great war in the form of a small tray or plaque created from a horse shoe and a piece of brass forming the base with a RASC badge pinned to it. This unique piece of trench art is a poignant reminder of the service provided by the men of the Royal Army Service Corps and their horses, and the vital role they played in the conflict supplying the troops. Good condition with expected signs of age and wear, metal tarnish and some spots of rust, RASC badge wobbles slightly, please refer to detailed photos provided.
