Description
This is a good 19th century oil painting of a spice seller holding a basket of wares painted in the manner of Joachim Bueckelaer (1533-1574).
Bueckelaer was a 16th century Flemish painter from Antwerp who specialised in market and kitchen scenes. The painting is in good order painted on board and attractively framed.
This measures 40cm by 30cm overall including the frame.
