A Superb Webb's Victorian Satin Glass Vase

A quality, good sized satin glass vase from the end of the Victorian era. The shaped body sits on a raised base and has a long slender neck with large flared and crimped rim. The vase is decorated with a network design in frosted pale blue over white glass and is probably the work of the great Webb's Company. To the base is a broken pontil mark and the glass has a wonderful shimmer in the light. A pleasing and tactile example for practical use. Origin :- English. Date :- Circa 1890.
