This is an antique ladies correspondence box. An Irish, walnut and brass writing slope case, dating to the William IV, circa 1833. A desirable, quality example with fine hidden storage and a beautifully appointed interior. Crafted from select walnut, offering fine grain interest and warm caramel hues Casework skilfully edged in brass for a tactile, attractive contrast in fine taste Personalised brass plaque to the lid, as gifted to a Miss J.A.
