Antique Georgian early Victorian oil painting study of a scene from Don Quixote (1 of 4). English School, circa 1832-1868. Unsigned, artist unknown, but attributed to George Cattermole (1800-1868) or Charles Cattermole (1832-1900). Oil on board. Gilt gesso frame (more modern). Provenance on reverse - label with details of scene from Don Quixote - "Chap 31, p 36, Globe Edition". Size of frame: 21 x 15 inches; Size of painting: 18.25 x 12 inches; Size of front painting aperture: 17.5 x 11.5 inches. Weight: 1.25 kg (allow 6 kg volumetric weight once packed).
