Oil on canvas. Elaborate gilt gesso frame
Provenance on reverse of canvas as follows: "A piece of Old Norwich known as Elm Hill". It features the Britons Arms with courtyard and water pump at the top of Elm Hill and the church in the background.

Condition commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches, various knocks and pieces missing to gesso frame but all part of its charm and character. Priced accordingly. Best described as shabby chic or faded grandeur. A real piece of Norwich history - worthy of a museum.
