This is an antique ladies garden seed box. An English, walnut and boxwood inlaid greenhouse storage case, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910.
Delightful seed storage, ideal for the potting shed or greenhouse planting table. Presents a desirable aged patina and in good antique order. Select walnut stocks present fine grain interest with caramel hues. Boxwood inlay accentuates the lid with an attractive floral motif. Dressed to the fascia with an ebonised lock escutcheon — in working order, key present.
