Description
This is an antique wine bottle case. An English, walnut and brass Champagne Magnum box, dating to the Regency period, circa 1820.
Wonderful Regency bottle case, with a charming appearance. Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout. Select walnut stocks present fine grain interest and warm caramel hues. Dressed with a pair of brass carry handles, ideal for transporting from room to room. Front fascia with field panel detail, sliding open upon an internal runner. Generously sized interior easily accommodating a Magnum diameter bottle.
