Antique Silver Plate, Magenta Silk Lined Jewellery Casket

We found this good sized, ornately decorated silver plate (on brass) box looking very forlorn earlier this year and embarked on sensitively restoring it and giving it another life as a jewellery or keepsake casket. As the photographs show, due to polishing in its earlier life, the silver plate now has rather attractive brass highlights. We are now delighted to present this very beautiful and capacious casket as a regenerated antique, complete with a bright new magenta silk interior.
