Description
This is a soft and gentle view of the Island of Eigg in Scotland by Donald Wilkinson (b.1937).
Wilkinson was born in Keswick, Cumbria and studied at Carlisle College of Art in the 1950s and then at Royal College of Art. Original works are mainly in pastel . This piece is a limited edition aquatint, no.27/90. Signed by the artist lower right. The title is partly illegible but says "Autumn/ Eigg towards far G...?). Label for Monpelier Gallery, Cheltenham verso.
