Early 18th Century English Oak Side Table with Drawer, Circa 1700–1720 (Georgian, George I)

Early 18th Century Georgian Oak Side Table with Drawer A fine early 18th century oak side table, constructed in solid oak throughout. The oblong plank top has a semi-rounded edge above a frieze fitted with a full-width drawer, set with period-style twin brass drop handles and a scalloped apron below. The table is raised on well-turned ring supports with block sections on compressed feet, united by plain stretchers. Peg-jointed construction throughout. A good early Georgian country table with pleasing proportions and an attractive warm patina. Carefully serviced, cleaned and waxed in our workshop, and now very much ready for use.
