Description
A superb silver serving or tablespoon from the end of the reign of King George II. The spoon is in Hanoverian pattern and has the original marriage 'pricked initial's - 'C over I S' to the reverse of the shank and a double drop to the heel. This handsome and rare piece is over 280 years old and is a superb collector's item. Early silver tableware is always in demand and becoming increasingly difficult to find, particularly early 18th Century examples. Maker:- Edward Jennings.
