Late George III Mahogany Armchair c.1820

An elegant late George III mahogany armchair dating to circa 1820, with strong Regency period influence. The chair features a reeded top rail, reeded arms and uprights, an open decorative back and shaped arm supports. The mahogany has a rich warm colour and attractive patina. The green upholstered seat appears to have been recently renewed and presents very well. A handsome and highly usable antique chair suitable for a study, library, bedroom or sitting room.
