Miners Pocket Watch Case 1920s Original Large Brass Protective Outer Case

Gentleman's original Antique large brass protective outer case for a pocket watch. These were used by Miners to protect their watches and keep them clean and away from coal dust etc. Measures; 10cm height (including the top ring), 5.9cm width, 2.8cm depth and weighs a hefty 104.4 grams. Highly polished heavy gauge brass case with original thick bevel edge glass (not acrylic). The front bezel screws on and off correctly, closing tightly and I have taken the liberty of oiling the threads for years of smooth operation. Bottle green baize to internal base (protects the back of your pocket watch) which can easily be removed if desired. Large robust brass top ring. Lovely clean and bright condition with just one or two small indentations (has done its job it was made for, protecting the watch) and a little bit of overall patina / surface scratches commensurate with age.
