Pair of Antique Miniature Portraits, Watercolour Painting

Wonderful pair of mid 19th C. naive watercolour portraits, of what we can assume is a married couple. Older couple in sitting position wearing period clothing. Gentelman pointing at the music notes that are resting on his lap and the lady is holding handkerchief. Both characters are naively painted but still showing good detail and full of charm. Portraits are painted on paper with ink and watercolor, mounted in birds eye frames. On the right side of the ladys portrait, name and date are vizable Lewis July /50 which most likely stands for 1850. Two portraits are in similar condition, showing light imperfections with fading. Frames are showing wear and tear with imperfections. Portraits are approx: 15.5cm by 11cm Matching frames - 23cm by 20.5cm ♻️ we care about our little planet and use recycled boxes ♻️
