Pocket Watch Chain 18ct Rose & White Rolled Gold Victorian 1890s American Albert

Victorian Gentleman's highly impressive 18ct (stamped) rose and white rolled gold (has a lovely rich pink 'blush' and is known in the U.S.A as gold filled), traditional chunky curb link Antique (American) pocket watch chain / Albert with big sliding T bar and original matching swivel dog clips. Dated; 1890's. Similar to the pocket watch chain I have supplied to 'Peaky Blinders'. (Pocket watch shown is for display purposes only and NOT included). Measures; 41cm / 16" total length and weighs a heavy 36.9 grams. Crisp and bright traditional chunky curb links (measure 6mm width) which alternate every sixth link from rose rolled gold to white rolled gold - all have a lovely 'fluid' feel to them, reflecting the light beautifully. One of the oval shaped end links is clearly stamped to one side; 18ct ROLLED GOLD. Original matching large rose gold filled swivel dog clip to each end (both operate correctly) and big rose rolled gold sliding T bar (measures 4.1cm length) which moves up and down the entire length of the chain and is correctly stopped at each end by the dog clips. The T bar is stamped to one side (slightly rubbed with the passage of time) with the makers name; PARAMOUNT (they were one of the leading American jewellery manufacturers of the era) and is stamped to the other end (again somewhat rubbed); 18ct ROLLED GOLD. Excellent bright clean condition with just a tiny bit of light overall wear/patina and little surface scratches - all commensurate with age.
