I specialise in affordable original artworks - mainly traditional watercolours and oil paintings but I also have a range of contemporary artworks including limited edition lithographic prints. I also stock a limited selection of antiques and collectables, including treen, ceramics and glass. I have now opened a shop at 26 High St Wallingford (OX100BU) between Reading and Oxford, but I also trade online. My website, www.artandstuffgallery.com has a gallery section with several mini-galleries where my items are displayed, including more contemporary items not shown on LoveAntiques.

Description
Vanity Fair prints are famous antique and vintage caricature portraits that were published weekly in the British satirical magazine Vanity Fair between 1868 and 1914. More than half of the caricatures were drawn by Sir Leslie Ward, who signed his work with the pseudonym "Spy"—so they are often called "Spy prints".
On offer are prints of John Henry Taylor, James Braid, John Ball junior, Horace Hilton, Samuel Mure Ferguson, Horace G Hutchinson, H Mallaby-Deeley and Robert Maxwell. All were famous enough to be featured on Wikipedia and most had glittering careers. All our prints are by "Spy" except for that of John Ball Junior where the artist is "Lib" (Libono Prosperi). The prints were part of the "Men of the Day" series by Vanity Fair and all the prints include the magazine's summary of their careers to date verso.
Price quoted is for all 8 but we will consider offers for part of the set- please enquire.
