This antique oil painting of an artist's dog which is of a small dog sitting on an artist's palette is beautifully painted on board and dates from the late 19th Century / early 20th Century. This handsome painting is signed on the bottom left with the artist's signature of W. Beekers and sits in it's gilt frame. This painting is after Charles Van Den Eycken's The Artist's Helper dog painting, is a charming dog portrait which is full of character and would make a wonderful decorative piece. Can be hung by the rear fixing. Date: Late 19th - early 20th century. Medium: Oil Painting on board.
