Victorian Silver Plated and Engraved Glass Claret Jug Birmingham c.1890

Technical Description A glass and silver plate claret jug dating to c.1890. It has a silver plated lid, cap and handle. The neck has been engraved with a geometric band with slice cuts to the shoulders. A band of cross cut diamonds and flute cuts around the middle. Circular slice cut foot with a star cut base. Date England, 1890 Condition The silver is in excellent unrubbed condition, no chips, cracks or restoration to the glass which is also clean and clear internally.
