Description
Anyone who knows the fens will know the stunning view of Ely Cathedral across the flat fenlands round about. Well here it is! The cathedral is dwarfed by the marshland to the foreground and the big fenland sky, which is beautifully done - turbulent and full of interest. The painting is signed “RYA” and we know nothing of the artist although this is clearly a 20th century piece.
