Description
Doris Davi's was an artist working in the early 20th Century She went to the Royal Academy Schools but information on her career is scarce. This etching was illustrated in Geoffrey Holmes book of 1920 titled 'Londoners Now and Then' published by the Studio Ltd. Copies of the book are available on line. Accompanying the work is the original steel etching plate.
