Description
Charming Japanese antique (early 20thC) bronze boy, dragon dance by Hozan Yoshiyama. An unusual Japanese bronze okimono depicting a young boy posing or dancing with a dragon masked costume, probably carrying out a theatrical performance. The nice quality bronze is captured in fine decorative detail with a foundry mark/seal to the rear for Hozan Yoshiyama. 40cm high x 24cm wide x 24cm deep, weight 7.65kg.
Excellent original condition and nice patina.
