Poul Cadovius (1911–2011) was one of Denmark’s most inventive modern designers, best known for his modular storage systems and architectural furniture. Trained as a saddler and upholsterer, Cadovius established his company Royal System in 1945, later renamed Cado, which became a key name in mid-century Danish design. His work often defined by clean lines, modular functionality, and exceptional craftsmanship helped shape post-war Scandinavian interiors.
