Inglesant & Sons were cabinet makers, upholsterers, house furnishers and carpet dealers from Leicester (fl.1872-1940). The Furniture Gazette, 15 December 1891, recorded that the firm had opened new, extensive premises in Church Gate, Leicester.
Directories from 1903 list the firm of T. Inglesant & Sons Ltd as cabinet makers, upholsterers, furniture & carpet dealers and house furnishers of Atlas House, Horsefair Street, Leicester with works at Ash Street. The firm appears to have founded by Thomas Inglesant in 1872 (as stated in later advertisements) and after Thomas H.’s death in 1946 (son of Thomas, the founder) it was taken over by Gillows. By this date Atlas House is described as being on Belvoir Street.
The records of T. Inglesant & Sons, furnishers, cabinet makers, upholsters and decorators, 1889 c.1937, are held at the Leicestershire & Rutland Archives, Leicester.
