Vintage Kigu Bon Voyage Suitcase Form Powder Compact Circa 1950 Unused

Vintage figural Kigu "Bon Voyage" powder compact offered in what appears to be unused, very good condition. This compact is from the Suitcase Series and the case is in the form of a suitcase made of gold tone metal, etched to resemble leather and with polished corner guards, straps and central blank rectangular cartouche and decorated with travel stickers. Press down gently on the handle to open the lid. Inside the case is marked Reg Design on the mirror frame. The hinged polished gold tone powder well door is also marked with the Kigu logo and with the words Bon Voyage! This door has a sliding catch and opens and closes perfectly. The powder well beneath has the original clean sifter and puff and appears unused. The framed glass mirror under the lid is clear and reflective. The compact measures 7 cm by 8.5 cm. This novelty powder compact is offered in very good condition with some very light age marks but no dents or dings, no metal tarnish and no wear.
